The mugs in this set are the perfect size. Yes, I'm talking about capacity (14oz), but more importantly about shape. They are modest length-wise, but have an impressive width. Why should you care? well, if use your mugs every now and then for anything other than coffee, it allows for easy access with a spoon. Heck, I eat ice cream, soup, pudding, anything I can really find with these cups. They're big, practical and look great. Each member of our household has his/her assigned color, so each person can do as they wish. The grown man's hand can fit in the handle with ease ( I've come across sooo many coffee mugs that were either made by or made for extremely slender fingers and it always drove me wild).

2. Great Set, perfectly packed!!
I was worried I would get a bunch of ceramic chips in the mail after a few bad experiences with UPS, but I was very surprised to see the package included two layers of bubble wrap. I got the solid set (I'm sure the other styles are nice, too, but I wanted to go conservative) and was really, really pleased with the quality and the colors. The paint job is perfect and you don't have any of the marks you often find on similar items.

Cute!
This set is really cute and functional. The product is packaged extremely well, so we didn't find any chips or breaks. The cups are REALLY big. Don't take this jumbo lightly, this is for the extreme coffee-addict in the family. Personally, my husband and I use them as soup bowls as well sometimes; why not looks silly, but it's functional.
