1. Very pretty, great size, feels sturdy.
I have been looking in stores and on websites everywhere for a set of mugs that were beautiful, without being kitsch, as well as well-made and large enough for the largest cup setting on our Keurig (12oz.) with a generous amount of cream added. I have had a hard time finding any I really liked until I happened to find these Textured Lattice mugs on Amazon. They arrived today and I am very pleased!! The colors are deep, rich, and beautiful. The cups are thick and sturdy feeling in your hand. There is a bit of an ombre-ness to the paint (the color is a bit darker toward the bottoms of the cups and lighter at the tops), which is very pretty. I am so happy I ordered a stand to display these on my countertop as the colors will pop nicely. I like them so much I've ordered a second set to be sure I have enough for company and back-ups, should I need them. Love, love, love them!

2. unnecessary but fun to have around
we don't find these cups suitable for hot liquids, because they are sooo big that the contents cool before they can be consumed. but we love using them for keys, pens, etc. they are bright and colorful and easy to spot from a distance..
