This Mugs give to us some advantages, good reviews already proving the quality of this product, like this :
1. Made in China - Not good quality!
Nice looking mugs that chip easily. I have owned these mugs for approximately 8 months and 3 of the 4 mugs are chipped.

2. Quality control? Not so much.
We received our Hot Tamale dinnerware piecemeal. The Olive Oil Set was first: The pitcher was chipped on the spout and two of the four plates were the same color (all photos show the four different colors). Next came the four cups. One of the handles had no pattern on it. The bowls were next and were okay. Finally, the long awaited plates arrived! Most had bubbles in the finish averaging about two per plate, but it was the finish on the center that really took the cake. The glaze or paint, or whatever, was wavy -- not just in appearance, but tactilely.

We looked long and hard for a colorful southwestern pattern that worked with our other stuff. So, ultimately, we ignored the reviews steering buyers away from dinnerware "made in China." Evidently, that was a big mistake!

The pattern and the colors are wonderful. Quality control appears to be non-existent.

Wayfair's packing, by the way, was superior. All recyclable, no messy styrofoam popcorn.

Large Capacity, Heavy Duty
I was impressed with the capacity of these mugs and their heavy duty construction. They seem to be good to very good quality and do well in the microwave and the dishwasher.
